Happy Garden!

We’ve been having undulating weather - super hot and sunny one week and then rainy the next week. It has been perfect for the garden! I have been thinning the kale as it gets bigger. I planted two in pots at my apartment and passed two along to a friend. I can’t bare to throw any out! I’m so happy that the basil is growing like a champ. The nasturtiums I planted around the border seem to think that the raised bed was built just for them. I keep pulling them over the side hoping they will get the hint.

PEAS! so. many. peas! Few things taste as fresh as a pea off the vine. I know by this time next month I will probably be sick of them, but for now I’m inhaling them.
